We have talked about the family breakfast before, saying how popular is has become for people around the Knowle West area. Because of the number of people we were serving it was decided that the kitchen team needed to up-date their food safety skills. And so it was arranged by John and Val to contact the Mede Centre and ask them to arrange a days training on Food Safety. So thirteen of us met at the Mede Centre and went through the day with a training course, CIEH Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering.

John has now started to drive the Mede Sprint minibus on occasions taking people for various appointments around the local area.
